Detection of bacteria, fungi and viruses
In the fields of human medicine, veterinary medicine and food analyses ingenetix offers real-time PCR assays for the detection of pathogenic micoorganisms and of human nucleic acid. Our portfolio includes the detection of bacteria (BactoReal assays), fungi (MycoReal assays) and viruses (ViroReal assays), as well as human DNA or RNA (GeneScan assays).
Assays are validated for the ABI Prism® 7500 and/or LightCycler® 1.1/1.2/1.5/2.0 instruments but can also be used on other real-time PCR platforms. Identical amplification protocols allow a simultaneous performance of most ingenetix assays.
The majority of ingenetix assays can be combined with a control assay (ControlReal or Internal Positive Control Assay). The simultaneous amplification of the designated target and the internal positive control excludes false-negative results. Information which control assay is suitable for your application can also be found at the corresponding products.
Ingenetix also offers DNA-extractions kits for stool and milk.

Oncology
